A native Japanese here to share the true heart and soul of authentic Ramen with the world.
I had some miso ramen the other day at Sapporo Miso Men Yu, near Tsutsujigaoka Station in Tokyo. The rich miso broth and those perfectly matched curly noodles were absolutely delicious

Visited "Sapporo Miso-men Yu" near Tsutsujigaoka Station on the Keio Line the other day. True to its Junren-style roots, the rich miso broth is incredibly deep and flavorful. It pairs perfectly with the signature curly noodles—just an unbeatable bowl of ramen. Really enjoyed this one.

I’ve had back-to-back bowls of unhealthy ramen. My go-to is Butayama. I had a "Mini Buta" with extra garlic and light veggies. Honestly, the intensity of the fat and volume is such that I wouldn't recommend it to women or seniors, even in the smallest size.

I was planning on having Tokushima ramen today, but after finding that most Tokyo locations have closed, I had to pivot. Instead, I finally checked out Menya Kaijin after hearing all the hype. I love shio ramen, but this one just wasn’t for me.

Of all Japan’s regional ramen styles, Tokushima Ramen is my favorite.
