Star Wars / LOTR / Dinotopia / The Old Kingdom / Narnia / LEGO
The Death Star racked up a pretty impressive K/D ratio for only having been operational a few days - Jedha, Scarif, Alderaan... who knows how many more planets by the end of the week with Tarkin in charge

If you told me a couple of years ago that one of the tensest scenes in Star Wars I'd ever watch was of someone trying to unscrew something, I'd never have believed you.

Changing Jabba's character from being a human to a Hutt, but keeping Han's quip "Jabba, you're a wonderful human being" is inadvertently one of the funniest lines in the franchise

Was curious why the Erso's homestead had moisture vaporators on such a wet world - turns out the volcanic nature of Lah'mu makes it great for farming, but the groundwater unpalatable for humans - thus needing to harvest it from the air

The gunners on the rescue gunships at Geonosis must have had a blast finally getting to let rip in an actual battle - the particle beam turrets are such powerhouses
After watching A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, I think all these actors would have been fantastic casting for new roles had they made an additional season of Andor - here's my fancast for each one

Learned today that the OG Boba Fett actor, Jeremy Bulloch, also played an Imperial officer in Empire Strikes Back and returned to play an Alderaanian pilot in Revenge of the Sith!

The Rebel raid on stormy Eadu was such a cool scene, one of my favorite X-Wing appearances - only wish it was longer!
Opening with the TIE Avenger heist was the perfect kickass way to start season two - when Andor goes off, it GOES OFF

Saw would have been a great character for James Luceno to write expanding on, much like his novels Plagueis and Tarkin

After seeing Alderaan's beauty and tranquility in the films and shows since ANH came out, it's destruction hits so much harder. So glad they gave us a peek at what it looked like on the surface.

The scene in The Last Battle when the giant blows his horn and the stars fall from the sky at the end of Narnia always gives me chills

Marcia Lucas, who won an academy award for her editing of A New Hope and George's former wife, has passed away at 80. RIP to a Star Wars legend.

Mace casually sticking the landing on a couple hundred foot drop at Geonosis was such a cool force flex

One of the best duelists in the galaxy, and Dooku still shows off by ragdolling his opponents around with the force for extra style points - it's interesting that he uses the force offensively more often than almost anyone else in the films

It's hilarious how Obi-Wan says "I hate it when he does that," as if he didn't just dramatically fling himself out a window into the abyss two minutes before. Anakin didn't get that flair for the dramatic from nowhere...
Seeing 501st trooper Nax living on the streets was a dark but good world-building aspect I appreciated in the Obi-Wan show - I'd like to think that he eventually made his way to the rebellion, or at least landed on his feet somewhere after this

Dryden Vos's daggers were so cool - hopefully we get to see more of them in Shadow Lord S2!
