My fennel is coated in these little guys. The big ones are more black in color, while the tiny ones like the same overall, but are more brownish. What are these guys? TIA

Found in middle Tennessee; the first I’m assuming is a bunch of crinoids with a few brachiopods tossed in. The second looks like a jumble of small brachiopods. The first one appears to have fossilized in quartz; the broken end sparkles in sunlight
