I was set up at an outdoor flea market in Massachusetts and must have seen dozens of these beetles throughout the day. they kept landing on the tables and crawling around my items & into my display cases.

Looking for info on this 1918 fob/charm. Makes me think of the WWI “I want you” recruitment poster. I wonder if this is from some kind of St Louis recruitment effort? I’m in the USA.

I don’t see a lot of jewelry in design subs so here are some of my favorite 70s items I’ve found at flea markets, vintage stores, etc. in the past year or so.

My great-grandma bought these in Shanghai around 1920. They’re 22k+

These are some items I have owned over the years, all made from coins. Mostly love tokens. I find such pieces fascinating, and always look for them at flea markets, etc..

English-language business card from Aux Belles Poules, a well-known Parisian brothel. "Jeanine" was probably one of the prostitutes, her name inscribed in case the client was satisfied and wanted to see her again in the future. the brothel closed in 1946.

is this vintage brooch based on a piece of art? it reminds me of museum gift shop pieces I've seen that are based on sculptures/paintings. I can't quite make out the signature but it looks like OXASSOS, OYASSOS, ©YASSOS, or something like that. sounds Greek.

I love this weird vintage brooch I found at a secondhand store! couldn't say much about it, but I like strange imagery on jewelry!

I bought an early 80s fashion book at the Strand bookstore. when I got home and started leafing through it, I found a piece of Diana Vreeland's personal stationery stuck between the pages.

I bought a 1980s Yves Saint Laurent exhibition catalog at the Strand bookstore, and while leafing through it I discovered a piece of Diana Vreeland's personal stationery. she co-authored the catalog, so maybe it was her copy at one point.

could not resist this 1970s men's shirt at a flea market! it has so many labels/signatures: Saks Fifth Avenue, "Milano st" and/or "Milano sti" on the fabric, and "Vilar of Barcelona for Barry Boonshaft". I was unable to find out anything about Vilar of Barcelona or Milano Sti.

I don't care for this graphic in the Google app. it looks cluttered to me and I don't understand what it's trying to convey. what am I missing?

I'm in the United States. can anyone shed light on this decorative plate I found at a thrift shop? front is signed "Delphine"; no other marks. made of unglazed ceramic with what appears to be hand-painted decoration. I searched google, worthpoint, live auctioneers, and ebay to no avail.

I purchased this large solid silver cross at a flea market today. I recognize the christogram, alpha and omega, and IHS, but I do not know what the conjoined MR means. Can anyone help? Thank you!

I’m in the USA. I know what most of the lettering means on this large solid silver cross, but trying to figure out what the conjoined MR means. Cross is marked sterling and weighs 4.3ozt.

Found these c1980 pins at a thrift store. Who are these guys? At first glance, I thought Mick Jagger but I’m not so sure after looking a little closer.

is this any sort of military insignia? pendant has a handmade aluminum sword riveted to a metal (magnetic) star-like base. reminds me of some "trench art" aluminum pieces I have seen. pendant looks to be pretty old and chain looks to be 30s-40s based on the patina & clasp style. thanks!

does this pendant look like a specific symbol? it's a handmade aluminum sword riveted to a star symbol (stylized Star of David??). pendant has trench art vibes and might date to the 1940s. thanks!

I got this brooch at an estate sale and wondered if it is a specific building? pic is a little dark--street sign says St. Louis. also wondered if anyone recognizes who the maker might be since the signature is really hard to read.

70s screen print signed Hernandez. Found at a NYC flea market.

trying to see if anyone can ID the maker of this handmade brooch I purchased. it's signed but I don't even know which way the mark is supposed to be read. materials are silver, 18k, pottery, and a small ruby. it is really beautifully made!

WWII era English language business card from a Parisian brothel. the back has a location map and the handwritten name Jeanine. i assume Jeanine gave this to her client after business was conducted so he would remember to ask for her next time.

Crazy pricing at Cure Thrift (91 3rd Ave, NYC), probably the most delusional thrift store I have ever been to. I mostly buy vintage jewelry & clothing. More details in captions & comments.
