Just got the PXW-Z280 and interestingly, the 1080p mode on it seems to be at least a full stop brighter/more sensitive compared to the 4K mode. Seems like there may be pixel binning involved in the 1080p imaging pipeline rather than just simple downsampling from the 4K readout?
