Did I over complicate this? This is the entrance to my mega factory. It has 2 tracks in/ out that then will connect to the world network, i had to add the 3rd rail since i cant have a single point split 3 way.

I've started a new save and decided to take a more relaxed approach. Surprisingly, the different path I chose still allowed me to achieve my first orbit as early as October 15, 1954. While I won't go that route since I enjoy the heavy satellite program, it would put me 11 months ahead of my old PB.

I had an idea to build an Atlas-style vehicle but with F-1 engines. After a few hours of dialing in the stage sizes, I came to this final build. It's probably not all that useful, but I did it just as a fun idea. It has about half of the TLI of the Saturn 5.

So yesterday i was test building a mars orbiter using this Delta V chart.. but my maneuver nodes only took 3620 m/s for TMI but then it tool 2200 m/s orbit insertion burn. The 2 numbers add up to the total needed on the chart but just in different locations. Am I doing something wrong?

New personal best time to orbit of Sept 18 1955. Not much better then my old Dec 25 1955 but in this one launch I completed all contracts needed to finish heavy satellites and send a probe up to high space to start farming that science.

My new Odyssey Launch Vehicle, with 2 variants (0-4 SRB's) 7-10 Ton payload based on configuration. 6x LR79-NA-9, 3x LR105-NA-3 on the First stage with 2x LR91-AJ-3 on the second stage. With 15 payloads already prepared to integrate, this work horse will be launching from a LC-16 near you soon.

So I am currently looking through contracts coming up and seen that the lunar impactor do not specify "uncrewed" in the side bar. Thankfully it does in the overall requirements, but got a laugh do to all of the other contracts saying uncrewed.

Not staying stable, What am I doing wrong? Pictured is the top 2 stages of my 3 stage 4500KM downrange rocket, I have active control on the 2nd stage but only science on the 3rd stage. when I fire the spin motor it gives me a good spin but also introduces a oscillation that makes it start to flip.
