When I took drivers ed. in 1976 we were shown this gory film made in 1963 which showed actual footage of teenagers and adults who died in car wrecks. It was so disturbing that I didn’t want to drive for months after seeing it. My parents were confused as to why I suddenly stopped asking to drive !!

I bought this record when I was 13, I kept it hidden under my bed along with my George Carlin seven dirty words album. I thought I was a real teenage rebel ( I wasn’t) !
Like millions of kids in the 1960’s and 70’s I loved building plastic model kits, this particular kit stands out in my memory because my dad helped me build and paint it.
