On April 16, 1955, Hip Hop patriarch Clive Campbell, AKA DJ Kool Herc, was born in Kingston 🇯🇲. In 1967 moved with his family to New York, the South Bronx. In 1973, inspired by the Jamaican Reggae Sound Systems, he became a trailblazer, holding the first Hip Hop party.
