HP VR1000 Strap mod, i don't trust superglue so i bolted it into the 2nd ABS shell of the headset, it's mostly empty, it sits around the same spot but more secure

Stopped working in game, tried to power cycle it, now it’s doing this. Won’t enter pairing mode and it won’t turn off unless I remove batteries. Is it cooked?
