Many of us taking notes or writing journals look for a faster way to do it than regular handwriting. On this subreddit, I will display and discuss a wide variety of shorthand systems where this can be possible. I'll show the alphabet of each system and a sample of how it works in practice, commenting on how successful I think it is, and why or why not. See which one(s) you like!
