Dewlap

A dewlap is a flap of fat and fur under an animal's chin which can lap the dew up off the morning grass. Mother Rabbits use their dewlaps to keep newborn young warm while their fur grows in. Dewlaps are much more common in female rabbits, but many males sport handsome dews as well. Any animal can have a dewlap, but rabbits are famous for them.
