Hot Take. Destri and Harrison’s songwriting is more consistent than Stein who is more hit or miss. Although to be fair, he wrote more songs.

I love Debbie’s voice on this cover of Beirut’s “A Sunday Smile”. She doesn’t sound like this on the other songs on the record. Any audiophiles think her voice sounds like it has been triple tracked here? Or is it something else?

Fred Smith passed away today. He is the third member of Blondie who has died since 1920. He left Blondie in 1975 to join Television and Gary Valentine took his place.
