Mark Bruce could not suppress the urge to pull a good natured prank. He & and his brother would make prank calls to unsuspecting family members. Mark enjoyed being outdoors and loved fly fishing and hiking. He enjoyed working at Sandler O'Neil & Partners and mentoring colleagues. Mark was 40 y/o.

The immediate response to the Sept 11th attacks for National Guardsmen and Reservists was called Operation Noble Eagle. Many challenge coins were made for those Servicemembers to commemorate their quick responses and commitment to duty. This is one of them.

At home Vincent Boland Jr. was quiet. His mom said, "His friends are telling me that he was funny. I didn't know that. At home he was quiet. If you wanted to know something you had to ask him." When around friends he was funny, highly ethical, & brilliant. He was also a Mensa member. Vincent was 25.

Suria Clarke's Mother said, "She said: 'It happened before, mum in 1993.' She said she didn't like the buildings; she said they'd tried to blow them up before and I came out with the usual cliches ... and I said: 'Lightning never strikes twice.'" The only thing recovered of Suria was her work badge.

At 6 a.m. on 9/11, while his family was asleep, Antonio Rocha left for work for the very last time. At 8:49 he called his wife. She said, "He said for me to turn on the TV and not to be scared, but there was a lot of fire, and he was going to try to get out of there. Then the phone line went dead."

Irina Buslo was a Teacher in Belarus, but when she immigrated to the USA she was a babysitter & later worked at Banana Republic. In 2000 she was hired on at Fuji Bank. The job helped her to send more money to her mother & daughter. Irina's ultimate goal was to bring her daughter to NYC. She was 32.

Gregory Buck was a Jack of All Trades. He enjoyed restoring houses with his father, woodworking, cooking, being a pianist, graduated from Nursing School, and became a Firefighter. On 9/11 Gregory along with three other FF's were last seen entering 2WTC about 10 mins before the collapse. He was 37.
